Aztec officials give updates on deadly school shooting

10 December 2017

A 21-year-old gunman who disguised himself as a student to get into a New Mexico high school where he killed two students had caught the attention of USA investigators more than a year ago, authorities said Friday.

Atchison was a former student at small-town Aztec High School. But he said they determined no crime had been committed at that time. "The suspect did and went into the hallway where he encountered the second victim in the hallway".

Authorities have not revealed the name of the gunman, who is also dead, but said the shooter was a male. Police had said Thursday Atchison was identified but was "no longer with us". If either of these times are hard to attend, please feel free to call the Farmington Police Department victim advocates at 505-327-7701 or call the District Attorney's victim advocates at 505-599-9810 starting next week, as Thursday and Friday may be hard to answer calls due to assisting families.

She said when it was finally safe to leave the room, someone was dead on the ground right outside her classroom.

When Thomas Hill, a custodian, heard the shots, he saw the shooter and followed him and shouted at him authorities said.

That's not quite enough to cancel all your plans for, but it's certainly enough to cause some issues on the roads. National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories in parts of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

Police were called to the high school - located in Aztec, about 180 miles northwest of Albuquerque - at around 8 a.m. Thursday after reports of gunfire.

"This person is not only a coward, he is evil", Christesen said.

More than $6,000 have been donated to the family of Casey Jordan-Marquez, who was a cheerleader at Aztec High School through YouCaring and GoFundMe. He fired multiple rounds to the wall, but did not hit anyone.

Christesen said law enforcement found a thumb drive on Atchison's body that contained several documents that appeared to reference the shooting.

"If things go according to plan, today would be when I die", Atchison's note begins.

Justice League Might Be Zack Snyder's Last DC Film
The piece also asserts that there are no plans for director Zach Snyder to get behind the lens of a DCEU film again anytime soon. While one might assume that Justice League practically forced Toby Emmerich to take action, the president of Warner Bros.

San Juan County Sheriff's Office then had parents of Aztec High School students pick up them up at Mcgee Park at noon.

"I just can't believe this happened in our community", said Garrett's mother, Sabrina Montoya.

"There were several acts of bravery by staff members, teachers and students that were fantastic... that actually saved lives", Governor Martinez said.

"All New Mexicans are with Aztec today", she said. "Every child deserves to be safe at school", he said.
