CDC allegedly banned from using "science-based" and other phrases

Donald Trump's organization has supposedly banned the Center for Disease Control from utilizing seven words and expressions, including "science-based" and "transgender", in archives it is dealing with for one year from now's financial plan. The words? "Diversity", "entitlement", "evidence-based", "fetus", "science-based", "transgender", and "vulnerable". For example, officials can say "CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes" instead of saying a recommendation is "science-based" or "evidence-based".

The analyst who provided this info to the Post also explained that they had been given some alternate phrases for some of the words. "HHS also strongly encourages the use of outcome and evidence data in program evaluations and budget decisions".

"The change in language appears to be driven in part by the Trump administration's open hostility to the topic of climate change".
