Donald Trump attacks Vanity Fair and Hillary Clinton on Twitter

29 December 2017

Anna Wintour has been the editor-in-chief of VOGUE since 1988, NOT VANITY FAIR.

Following the release of a video in which staffers offer New Years resolutions for Hillary Clinton, Vanity Fair has found itself mired in controversy.

Instead, it suggests that she should take more photos in the woods, because "how else are you going to meet unsuspecting hikers?" and take up a new hobby in the New Year - like "volunteer work, knitting, or improv comedy...".

The backlash was swift.

Cardi B admits Offset cheated on her recently
In fact, she says, you can find videos of her dancing naked on YouTube already. "Anyways i know i know i got a nice body right". Cardi took to twitter to clear that Offset is still her boy, she tweeted on December 25 "I still put the p***y on Offset ".

Mr Trump's tweet added that Anna Wintour "is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!"

With that factoid in mind, another person slamming Trump tweeted, "Anna Wintour is the artistic director of Condé Nast, but that's for every publication under their publishing umbrella".

By Wednesday night, a Vanity Fair spokesperson had put out a statement saying the video was "an attempt at humor and we regret that it missed the mark".

The suggestion, part of an online video poking fun at the failed presidential candidate, was greeted with outrage, disdain and near-hysteria from Vanity Fair's readership who immediately complained of sexism. "Get over your mommy issues".

Marijuana: Pregnant Women Are Using More Cannabis, Says New Study
Researchers observed a sample of pregnant women in California and saw a 3-percent increase in use form 2009 through 2016. Many pregnant women are turning to the drug to treat morning sickness or anxiety associated with pregnancy.

"Hey STOP TELLING WOMEN WHAT THE F--K THEY SHOULD OR CAN DO".

Some, however, did not see the amusing side of the one-minute video. "I want to believe they gave each of those individuals an opt-out opportunity but they genuinely looked happy to do it".

The hashtag #CancelVanityFair began trending yesterday as commenters pledged to no longer subscribe to the magazine for its video.

"So @VanityFair decided that the best way to end 2017 was to take a repulsive cheap shot at @HillaryClinton, one of the most accomplished women in the history of the United States".

Roberto Firmino did something cheeky whilst scoring his second vs Swansea
The Brazil global made up for that with a close-range volley from his compatriot's free-kick seven minutes into the second half. Coutinho's arcing shot from the edge of the penalty area which had just enough curl on it to take it inside the far post.

But the staff member who says the line about knitting in the video, Maya Kosoff, has claimed that the video had been taken out of context, and that they had made similar New Year's resolution videos for a number of politicians. This wasn't a Hillary hit piece either, FWIW! They suggest to Clinton, as a new year's resolution, to just bow out of politics now and never run for office again.
