The Toffees announced that Allardyce will finalise terms at the club's USM Finch Farm training ground on Wednesday.

David Unsworth will remain in charge of the Blues for tonight's Premier League match against West Ham United at Goodison Park.

Former Under-23s manager David Unsworth took over on a caretaker basis in October following Ronald Koeman's dismissal but has been able to turn his side's fortunes around.

Kentucky played nine teams who made the NCAA Tournament field, including three other SEC teams in Florida, LSU and Missouri. The Gophers are coming off two consecutive Final Four appearances with no national championships to show for it.

Allardyce has been out of management since his surprise decision to quit Crystal Palace at the end of last season, having succeeded in a six-month mission to keep them in the top-flight.

Former England boss Allardyce ruled himself out of the running earlier this month, claiming he did not feel the Toffees were convinced he was the right man.

Poor old Everton. They sit in 16th place after a awful start to the season but supporters will be hoping serial Premier League survivalist Sam Allardyce can turn things around.

LeBron James ejected for first time in National Basketball Association career
The win over the Heat was Cleveland's ninth straight victory, after starting the season poorly losing six of their first 10 games. But Fitzgerald called a technical foul against the Cleveland star over his loud protests, and ejected him from the game.

Everton have lost seven of their 14 league games this season and can not qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League after earning one point from their five Group E matches.

Sam Allardyce is reportedly set to sign a two-and-a-half year deal at Goodison Park worth £12million, with the remit to ensure top-flight survival. They have conceded more than twice as many goals as they have scored having failed to replace leading scorer Romelu Lukaku following his summer departure for Manchester United.

His first game will be at home to Huddersfield on Saturday, and he will no doubt want to cap his first game off with a victory.

According to data collected by a pest control company called SafeGuard, thousands of bugs could be in your live Christmas tree. This was due to a glut of trees on the market and the growers were losing money on every tree they sold.
