Reliance Jio has some high-value plans as well, which come with a longer validity and more data.

In the Q4 of previous year, telecom operator Airtel announced two new tariff plans priced at ₹448 and ₹509 respectively for its prepaid customers which offered benefits like free voice calls and 1 GB data per day. Now here is what Jio has changed to disrupt the telecom tariff segment.

Haley tells ABC's "This Week" that there's " no turnaround " in the USA position. It's not my understanding that they're going to talk about anything further.

Airtel's revised plans come just days after it launched the Rs 799 plan to offer 3.5GB 4G data every day for a period of 28 days. Now, the brand has extended the validity and it comes with a validity of 91 days. Other benefits like unlimited calling, SMS and unrestricted access to other Jio apps and services remain the same. This will bring down the base price of Jio plans with 1GB data per day to Rs. 149, down from the current Rs. 199.

On a recharge of Rs 448, the users will get 126 GB data for a validity of 84 days. There's a FUP (Fair Usage Policy) of 1.5GB per day.

State TV reported on Tuesday that the latest clashes between protesters and security forces have killed nine more people. The local governor said the protesters were armed.

Airtel has given changes to two of their existing prepaid plans, adding extra validity in order to go in a tight competition with Jio, increasing the validity of its Rs 448 and Rs 509 prepaid plans. The validity of this plan will be 70 days.

Users with a bigger appetite for data will also get a healthy boost. However, there is a daily cap of 300 minutes per day or 1,000 minutes per week of calls. The company offers 28GB data for 28 days. It comes bundled with 100 local, national SMS per day. Under this offer, customers will get 70GB of 4G data with a daily cap of 1GB data. It will now compete against Airtel's Rs 509 plan which also offers same amount of data. This means that company is now offering 91GB data in total in oppose to 84GB earlier. Vodafone's recharge for Rs 509 comes with unlimited local and STD calls, free SMS, and free subscription of Vodafone Play.
