Donald Trump appeared unsure of the words to the US's national anthem when he attended at a college American football game on Monday. Unlike the NFL, nearly no college football teams take the field until after the national anthem, according to The Associated Press.
And another added: "The man clearly does not know the words to the National Anthem".
And given the president's strong stance on the national anthem, it's no surprise that his critics pounced.

Following the national anthem, Alabama running back Bo Scarborough, who clearly wasn't happy with Trump (figuratively) kicking off the game, was heard yelling an anti-Trump slur before taking the field. After a while, however, he appeared to lose track of the words, and began singing random words, with no concept of the song's tune.
But supporters praised the president for taking the field, hand on heart.
Footage showed Trump mouthing the wrong words as a choir of four harmonised, "at the twilight's last gleaming", and during other segments of The Star-Spangled Banner. "So unprecedented as far as I know", tweeted Vaughn Esham.

Trump stood on the field for "The Star-Spangled Banner".
The Anthem was performed by the Zac Brown Band at Monday night's game.
"We want our flag respected, and we want our National Anthem respected also", Trump said during a speech to a farmers' convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
Operations at JFK Airport slowly return to normal
The airport appeared to be slowly getting back to normal on Monday but more than 100 flights were canceled in or out of JFK. Officials are urging travelers to check their airline for their flight's status before coming to the airport.
The league's commissioner, Roger Goodell, responded in a statement at the time, saying, "Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players". "Colin Kaepernick", Charlotte Clymer tweeted, referring to the football player who kicked off the kneeling protests.
