YouTube has temporarily suspended all ads from video star Logan Paul's channels after what it calls a pattern of behavior unsuitable for advertisers. A recent video showed Paul shooting a Taser stun gun at dead rats.
After filming a suicide victim's dead body, terrorizing Japanese citizens with tasteless pranks, and exhibiting racism towards Asians in the past, Logan Paul has finally done something unforgivable in the eyes of YouTube.
YouTube in its statement today says the company isn't "telling you what to create", but that if videos do not comply with its guidelines, a content producer like Paul should "opt out of monetization for any videos that are not advertiser friendly while you remain in the YouTube Partner Program".
Swansea City v Burnley Preview: Swans Aim To Stretch Unbeaten Run
But it appears new Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal is determined to remain in the good books of reporters covering his side.
YouTube said this week that Paul's behavior could be "damaging to the broader creator community".
In a February 4 video, Paul said he was aware that all of his work from then on was going to get criticism.
The company, which is owned by Google, notes that in the past few weeks, Paul - who has some 15 million YouTube channel subscriber - "encouraged" followers to perform the potentially deadly Tide Pod Challenge, and also tasered a dead rat.
Rahul asks 'pro-rich Modi' to waive farmer loans
Lashing out hard at the Prime Minister, Gandhi said, "Modi ji stop giving speeches and start working, because you don't have much time".
Paul made numerous apologies and said he was "taking time to reflect". It will also reserve the right to stop recommending a channel's videos across its network if the channel is seen as harmful to the YouTube community. In response to the outrage, YouTube cut the influencer from all of its originals projects that were now in development, put an age requirement on his channel, and removed him from its Google's premium advertising program. Logan Paul's repeated stunts could potentially start another "Adpocalypse" in which advertisers drop support for popular YouTubers due to fear of being associated with inappropriate content. As such, the vlogger has once again been bad news for YouTube, with criticism coming over Paul's negative influence.
'How many chances does Logan Paul get?' reads a PETA statement.
Paul hasn't commented on YouTube's decision to suspend all ads from his channel. The youtuber didn't appear noticeably humbler than ever before his hiatus.
Who Is Kim Yo-jong, Sister of North Korean Leader?
The US has given mixed signals about its willingness to talk . "This is our family and this is great". She later gave that folder to Moon, and Moon's office said it was a personal letter from her brother.
It's clear that Paul is far from a good role model, and many viewers think so, so it's unclear why YouTube made a decision to keep him on after demonetizing his videos. You either love me, or you hate me.
