A Warm Wave for Spring Break — FIRST ALERT WEATHER

Temperatures look a bit milder with highs around 50 degrees. Snow will thin out and stop across El Paso county early this morning with dry skies expected after 6 am while Pueblo will probably be dry closer to 7 am. We are going to see a warmer look through the afternoon, highs will be in the lower 80's with cloudy skies and breezy winds out of the southeast. By the evening hours on Thursday, the bulk of the rain will be to our east, but we will still have a few showers around. Temps start between 5° and 20°, inching into the low 40s this afternoon with a light and variable wind. Low: 22. Day: Partly cloudy with increasing clouds in the evening with a 30 percent chance for snow showers in the evening. A modified arctic air mass is still expected to move across the divide bringing in cooler temperatures. Friday looks windy and handsome with highs returning to the 60s and 70s.

Today: Cloudy during the morning, then some breaks of sun developing during the afternoon.

Forecasters predict Friday as partly sunny with a high near 64 degrees, a low near 40 and winds of 5-10 miles per hour.
