"I totally respect his decision to follow his heart", she told PEOPLE this week.

"I hope, after everything, that he just holds [Lauren's] heart in the highest regard", she continued.

It's interesting that this is her opinion of Arie, as he tried to find a wife a few years ago on "The Bachelorette".
