"Despite Mr. Trump's failure to sign the Hush Agreement, Mr. Cohen proceeded to cause $130,000.00 to be wired to the trust account of Ms. Clifford's attorney".

After Trump won the Republican Party nomination for president in 2016, Clifford sought to share details of her relationship with him with the media, it said. As part of the agreement, Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has said he paid Clifford $130,000 just 12 days before the 2016 presidential election.

He did not immediately reply to a request for comment about the lawsuit Tuesday evening.

Daniels' lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles, alleges that the non-disclosure agreement about her relationship with Trump wasn't valid because the then-Republican candidate never signed it.

One little-noticed provision in the agreement that was revealed Tuesday night expressly bars Daniels from communicating with Trump or his family 'for any reason'.

A legal expert with OSPI also said special exceptions are made for students with an IEP (Individualized Education Program). Although the 16-year-old girl can't yet vote, she still wants politicians to know she has something to say.

Stephanie Clifford, known professionally as Stormy Daniels, signed both the agreement and a side letter agreement using her professional name on October 28, 2016, just days before the 2016 presidential election.

Ms. Clifford and her attorney want the Los Angeles District Court to rule the nondisclosure agreement unenforceable.

The lawsuit contains a copy of the NDA with a blank line in the spot where it appears Trump was supposed to sign. "That means the $130k payment from Cohen to Daniels to silence her during the campaign violated federal election law".

The "hush agreement" as it is called in the lawsuit refers to Trump as David Dennison and Clifford as Peggy Peterson.

Tune in to "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday, March 7, to hear from Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing Clifford.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels was ordered by an arbitration judge not to sue Donald Trump, according to an attorney for President Trump's longtime personal legal counsel.

"She believes it's important that the public learn the truth about what happened", he said. Daniels has previously asserted that her affair with the real estate mogul had occurred in 2006, while Trump was married to Melania.

News first reported the lawsuit.

"The idea that an attorney would go off on his own without his client's knowledge and engage in this type of negotiation and enter into this type of agreement quite honestly I think is ludicrous", he said.

According to the lawsuit, the "hush agreement" required the signatures of all those involved, including Trump, who did not sign. In return, Clifford was not to disclose any confidential information about Trump.

Trump also doubled down on the idea that the situation with North Korea should have been handled years ago. America's oldest allies in Europe, however, should expect much different treatment from the US president.

The president has never addressed the alleged relationship with Clifford publicly, and the White House has side-stepped questions about it with spokesperson Raj Shah telling members of the press he had never asked the president about the alleged relationship.
