02 March 2018

Newcastle International Airport teams have been busy clearing runways of snow and making sure that only a minimum amount of flights are disrupted.

Indeed it received seven flight diversions between 4.20 am and 7am this morning as flights bound for Dublin diverted to Shannon Airport due to the temporary closure of Dublin Airport.

However, the Irish airline has confirmed that inbound flights from the U.S. and Canada will depart as planned on Friday night, arriving into Irish airports on Saturday morning. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh are advising customers not to travel to the airport today.
