Stockdale double as Ireland claim bonus-point win over Scotland

11 March 2018

Jacob Stockdale bagged a brace to become the first Irishman to score six tries in a single campaign in Five and Six Nations history, as Ireland moved within one win of just a third-ever clean sweep.

Winger Jacob Stockdale, in only his eighth game for Ireland, bagged a brace of tries to take his overall global tally to 10, while further scores from Conor Murray and Sean Cronin handed a ruthless Ireland a thumping win.

Ireland were crowned Six Nations champions on Saturday with a match to spare after England lost 22-16 to France. "We played some outstanding rugby today, just disappointed we didn't have one more two more three more tries on the scoreboard which would have made it a very interesting game in the last 10 minutes".

"We've a lot of big leaders", Best said.

Scotland's generosity with their final pass saw to it that Ireland's job of setting up a Grand Slam day in Twickenham next week was more easily prosecuted than it might have been.

Apart from being an activist, Desmond was also a beautician and developed her own line of beauty products, Vi's Beauty Products. Desmond, who was short-sighted and could not see properly from the back, sat in the floor section and refused to leave.

Eddie Jones' side needed a bonus-point win over France to keep their Six Nations title hopes alive after Ireland took maximum points in their 28-8 victory against Scotland.

"There's so much still to play for and we know how hard it is going to be against England".

"It's been in the back of our minds and it's something you always dream of", Murray said.

They were deep into Ireland territory and leading 3-0 through Greig Laidlaw's penalty when they offered the hosts the first of several gifts during the afternoon.

He read Pete Horne's intentions, snatched the pass and ran from his own half to touch down between the posts to set up an easy conversion for Johnny Sexton.

The Turkish postal service or PTT is now serving a Syrian city liberated from terrorists in 2016 by Turkish soldiers. Erdogan noted that a total of 815 square kilometres (506 square miles) have been cleared from the terrorists so far.

Scotland wasted a glorious chance to score when Huw Jones chipped over Keith Earls, picked up and burst clear with Stuart Hogg inside.

Thankfully, despite all of their best intentions - and to be fair, they did play a HELL of a game - the Scots simply couldn't penetrate the Irish defence for the majority of the game, and when all was said and done, the Irish sailed passed them on the scoreboard, to the tune of 28-8.

Murray, though, was to get his moment of glory as he ducked inside Finn Russell and went over six minutes into the second half - Sexton converting as the Irish eased away to 21-3.

He's determined he doesn't squander this rare shot at a Grand Slam. "I think they had a few chances, an intercept and they took all of them".

"They are a very good team", added the backrow.
