Two injured in IN middle school shooting, suspect in custody

One child and one adult were injured during the incident.

Seventh-grader Ethan Stonebraker said the student was acting suspiciously when he walked into the room while the class was taking a test. "The situation resolved itself quickly and he was taken into custody". The Carmel and Noblesville fire departments confirmed that the shooter was in custody.

A student and a teacher were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of gunshot wounds.

"He's a hero", the student said.

Jeremy Seaman, who now lives in Arizona, said his brother was a defensive end for Southern Illinois University's football team and has never been a person to run away.
