Kevin Durant blocks LeBron James up front

Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala will be a game-time decision for game three of the NBA Finals but has a "good chance" of playing, according to head coach Steve Kerr.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson struggled badly in Game 3, and the Cavs played well, but Durant was on another level, and Cleveland had no answer.

Cleveland has won eight straight playoff games at Quicken Loans Arena, which may be louder than ever with hometown fans still frothing from some calls that went against the Cavaliers in the Bay Area last week. People look at James' 3-5 NBA Finals record and immediately say he can't be the best if he does not win as many rings as Jordan. But the Game 3 assault was more like a boa constrictor, slowly slithering around the Cavs scale-by-scale, squeezing until they gasped their final breath. We're used to the dynamic of being ahead in a series and then having everything shift when you go on the road. There are just 27 of them total outside of LeBron.

"And we have to be prepared for that". Kevin Durant led all scorers with a playoff career-high 43 points along with 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the Warriors, while LeBron James recorded 33 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks for the Cavaliers in the losing effort. There has never been a team to overcome a three-game deficit in National Basketball Association history, in the Finals or any other round of the playoffs. To put that into perspective, Curry has drilled 56 three's so far this postseason, despite sitting out the Warriors' first six playoff games (he's appeared in 13 games). "I don't like the way - the mood that I'm in right now, knowing whatever. They just - like I said, that margin for error is so thin and so little against them that in some cases you nearly have to be flawless". "So I don't feel good about it".

Cavs' Love, Thompson avoid suspension for Game 1 altercation
Cleveland did take Game 2 in the first NBA Finals meeting between the teams, winning 95-93 in overtime in 2015. Yep, that's a definite lane violation, and in the most crucial possession of the game as well.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue plans to switch up his rotation and play forward Rodney Hood, whose role has been reduced since the start of the postseason.

Hood is 25 and 6-foot-8 who can score off the dribble in catch-and-shoot situations and can switch on defence.

He finished with 26 points in Game 1 but had a poor shooting night, leading many to doubt his value at this stage of the season.

Dallas would have to take on the bad J.R. contract and the not as awful Jordan Clarkson contract, but would get two picks in the lottery this year, which would give them the chance to pair a Bamba/Jackson with a Porter/Bridges (either one). "I think that we fought very hard". Kevin Durant bolted from Oklahoma City to join the cast last season.

Iguodala has been dealing with a bone bruise around his left knee.

The Cavaliers' next-door neighbors were planning to attend Game 3.

Curry is looking for his third championship in four years - all against Cleveland. And I wholeheartedly endorse P.J. Tucker as the Sneaker Champ Award (best shoe game). "We know how the atmosphere is here".

And, as we know, no team is flawless - especially not these Cavs. "If we win tonight, then we knot it up at 2-2".
